Last week I got very reflective about success and shared a sliver of some painful reckoning I had to do to get straight with what I cared about. Thanks to all of you who took the time to go with me on that journey.
One thing I remember from the very first values exercise I ever did (it was with my therapist) was how overwhelming it felt. I was staring at this dry list of words on paper and trying to understand what they meant to me in my life. I genuinely did wonder if there was a better way to do this.
I’m a big believer in the power of tactile experiences. That’s why I created the Values Card System. I originally designed these for myself and for the workshops I run, because when you hold these in your hands, the choices feel more real. You can physically move the trade-offs around on a table. And sometimes, you can just flip them over and stare at a barn swallow to recenter yourself.

To be completely transparent, this is a very small Founder’s Run edition - I only printed 20 of these decks. If you're like me and you get more out of the physical act of sorting than drawing circles on a printout, I'd be honored to send you one.
And, if not, I’ve also made a one-pager version that’s absolutely free as well. You can check that out along with the detailed instructions for running a values sprint with your team at my website.
All the best my friends,
Ray
